  • slr camera – i have been wasting so much time reading about photography i would love to get a digi slr one day. why do they have to be so damn expensive! seriously. im scouring trademe for a second hand canon300D. plus then jonno can have my old camera and I wont have to worry about him damaging it.
  • mini cheesecake pan, i love how the bottoms of these come off
  • kitchenaid ice cream attachment, still havent worked out if I can make this go in the freezer.
  • gym journal – i really need to buy a notebook so i can record reps/weight/etc in it, im sure it will keep me motivated too.
  • new jeans :)

update ahhh I missed out on the best camera on trademe ever, sigh.

ricotta cake = mmmmmm cake

well my wonderful husband brought home some dessert the other day from circus cirus
which is this really awesome cafe in mt eden. well its awesomeness in my mind increased 100 times when i tried the ricotta cake with citrusy marscapone on the side (i made up the name for that last bit!)

and it increased again the next night when we returned to get a piece each. so, so good. tastes like heaven. anyway, ever since then I have not been able to get it out of my head so I have been trawling the internet for recipes. why does everyone fail me?! I think I am actually going to have to suck it up and go and ask if they will give me the reciepe. cos this one is good but it does not win… and it needs a biscuit base not a pastry one.

ahhh I finally got around to upgrading my wordpress so I can post again :) right! first things first…

for my 21st I said i would bake the cake if someone bought me the tin i wanted (hey, saved my folks the cost of buying a cake :P ) so of course I requested the new Wilton dimenstions cupcake tin

things to do before 1 year of marriage

  • change passport $150
  • change name on drivers license $31.50
  • change name at the bank
  • close my old bank account that is accruing interest like crazy (not the good kind)
  • make photocopies of important docos.

All of this so I can go travelling without worry that I have changed my name recently… sigh. Its so expensive!!

Ahh well at least I get new passport photos, hehehe
